What happens when after years as a housewife, Marianne throws down her apron, grabs her guitar and empties her heart out on the kitchen table?

A pinch of rock, a dash of pop, a touch of country blues and a generous portion of emotion, simmered and seasoned with a gastronomical assortment of musicians and you have got a delicious harmonious dish which will tantalize your eardrums, cradle you with it's softness, than shake you as it mirrors your own emotions like a cream pie in your face!

What is the name of this experience? ''MARIANNE'S KITCHEN'' of course! It goes without saying.

But who is this Marianne and where does she come from?

She was born in Belgium but raised in the U.S., in the heart of New England's state of Connecticut. There she was rocked with pop, blues, rock and folk music. Perfectly bilingual in French and in English, it is however in English that she prefers to express herself musically. After 18 years in the States, it's the language that she feels the most intimate with. Since her childhood, music and singing have been her passion, but it's only when she hits her 20's that she makes a timid entrance on the professional scene which she will soon leave to start a family. 10 years blow by before the day comes when she realizes her life was not complete without music. So she picked up her old guitar and started writing her own songs.

What happened is that it felt pretty good! It sounded pretty good too! She came to the decision that it was about time to hop on the road in life that she had always wanted to follow. So she took the cookie jar off the shelf, dusted it off, and with the savings inside she took her songs to a bigger kitchen, Impuls Studios. And there, under the artistic supervision of Stephan Kraemer and the help of many talented friends, the album ''White Rose in the Rain'' was born. On the menu, 12 songs; 10 in English and 2 in French.

After two years of travelling through the Brussel's swamplands, looking for the right musicians, indispensable ingredients for gastronomical music and on her quest to finetune her ability to seduce her audience, she throws out her old recipies, goes back into her kitchen, spices up the sauce of 4 of her songs, adds a new creation which will give a hint of the flavor that will season the second album. This 5 track CD entitled "MARIANNE'S KITCHEN", auto produced and pressed in New York, is now being launched.

So now , please find a comfortable chair, turn on your C.D. player and...

BON APPETIT!
